Ways To Fund Real Estate Deals
While there’s no one “right” way to fund these deals, many of our real estate investing partners opt to draw capital from these common sources.
Personal Cash
Cash held in checking, savings or other bank accounts can be accessed quickly. This can help us fund deals instantly instead of days or weeks. We accept wire transfers and cashier’s checks which can be obtained/initiated at any bank.
Home Equity Line of Credit (HELOC)
Many people aren’t aware that they can pull funds from their existing home or real estate investments. You can also make a return on your money by leveraging the equity in your home.
You can easily unlock your home’s equity with a HELOC, giving you access to 75%–90% or more of your property’s value as a line of credit. This credit line typically spans around 10 years and comes with a much lower interest rate than traditional loans. Even if you’re not ready to invest immediately, setting up a HELOC ensures you’re in position to move quickly when the right opportunity arises.
Investments
Stocks, mutual funds and CDs may be used to fund real estate investments.
